Every boy needs his down time [Especially this one]. Hundred-hour work weeks, daily four-hour meetings, 1,000 weekly emails, infeasible amount of articles to write a day, constant state of jet lag… The eons of activity in my head are busier than Toyota’s legal offices. This kid’s just asking for one simple thing: Heat. Lots of it. Will be heading to sun-drenched, tan-conducive, and impossibly secluded Mustique to wash away my anxiety with blue water and white sand [Instead of motor oil, for once]. Need not fret, much like Saab, I will be back. Wish me secure hammocks, tall glasses of alcoholic beverages and Prius Harmony dreams. -AM

A new decade is just a tug of the floppy paddle shifter away. And as we look back at what we lost Saturn, Pontiac, the integrity of Toyota, let us also look ahead the chicane and see the speed-compelling straights General Motors paying back debt, electric vehicles. What a difference a year makes. We wish you one of these or one of these underneath your Christmas tree [Since Santa hasn't got any use for them, he's schlepped by the reindeer in a Tata].
We here at AsianMartin [and by "we," I mean "me"] treasure the road, so we’ll be hitting it! [Well, technically i'm flying but I needed a car reference]. Will be taking a few days off to savour the poultry, down the gravy, and enjoy the foliage. And so should you! But know that my hand will always be here to hold through the long weekend of limited, if none whatsoever, automotive news on the intrawebs. But I have a feeling the Tryptophan will take very good care of you anyway…
Granted, i’m not Ford giving away Fiestas or Harpo giving away G6′… All I could muster are ::ahem:: stuff I got for free. Up for grabs is a sealed Hot Wheels toothbrush to whiten your motor oil-stained teeth, a Disney/Pixar Cars bubble bath to alleviate the road trip cramp, and a box of Transformers band-aids to cover-up the crackly, bloody white knuckles. Seriously, this is what my company’s expense account pays for [and they too can be yours].
So what exactly do I have to fulfill, forgo or flaunt to acquire the articles pictured above?
Included in the prize package [pathetic fanfare music playing] will be an opened Hot Wheels “Mystery Car.” It is, however, unopened at the moment, and will remain unopened until Monday morning when I coronate the winner. Where you come in? I will send all five articles to the person who correctly guesses the year, make and model of the vehicle inside the nontransparent plastic blockade. Now I understand it can be a bit ambiguous, so whoever is closest will be crowned the champion of this lousy attempt to gain viewership on my blog contest.
Oh yeah, did I mention i’ll throw in an Audi t-shirt as well? [Obviously, not pictured. Will receive it in 2 weeks after I drive the 2010 S4, hopefully you're a size large].

The month of October sounds like the perfect period to test the waters. It’ll be a time for me to get accustomed to the site & find those bad little apples to assure a drama-free launch. There’s still quite a bit of fine-tuning to do, however, the look & functionality of the place is something I can finally say i’m proud of (he says after 11 months of work…). So if you spot blunders, inaccuracies and/or bugs…just know that i’m on it.
